Welcome to Boogie Woogie. It's a silly name, but people remember us.

We're well known for our great coffee, freshly-made food and delightful home baking. Word has spread so well we sometimes have difficulty fitting everyone in – especially at lunchtimes. So book, if you can, to avoid disappointment. 

Based in the heart of the beautiful North East Scotland, about half way between Aberdeen & Inverness, Boogie Woogie offers you a great place to eat with a quirky gift shop and a fabulous area upstairs where ladies of all ages can spend lots of time browsing through our attractive range of clothing and jewellery.

Local quine, Jane Macpherson opened Boogie in 2002 and it quickly developed into a popular & attractive watering hole on the A96. Fast forward 16 years and she sold the business to a member of her staff (who'd worked at Boogie for 10 years) and her partner.

That member of staff was me, Annie. 

Along with my partner Ryan, we took control of Boogie at the end of June, 2018 and we vowed to keep the wonderful reputation of Boogie alive. We're both local and along with our staff, have a wealth of knowledge on the area so we also act as the visitor information point in the summer months.

In April, 2019 we were thrilled to be nominated for the North Cafe of the Year by the Scottish Independent Retail Awards, and even more thrilled when we won it.

So, whether you're popping in past for a coffee and a fine piece, or you want a 3 course feed, we look forward to meeting you and we're sure you'll enjoy your trip to Boogie.
